Because Every Child Deserves to Feel Remembered

The holiday season is a time for joy, connection, and creating memories — but for many families, it can also be a season filled with uncertainty and difficult choices. At Rising Together Inc., we believe every child deserves to experience the magic of the holidays and feel seen, valued, and remembered.

Building Holiday Hope is our first annual holiday initiative created to bring hope, dignity, and encouragement to families in our community. This year, we are honored to serve 50 families and up to 100 school-aged children and teens by providing thoughtful holiday gifts, essential items, and resources designed to remind each child that they matter.

This initiative is about more than gifts — it is about building connection, restoring hope, and showing families that their community stands with them. Through the generosity of local businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, we are creating an experience where children can smile, families can breathe a little easier, and everyone can feel the power of compassion.

Brick by Brick – Building Our Students' Future: Event Recap Because of Our Community, 40 Students Are Starting the School Year with Confidence There is something incredibly powerful about a community that chooses to come together for its young people. Thanks to the generosity, kindness, and unwavering support of our community, Rising Together Inc. was honored to equip 40 local high school students with the school supplies they need to begin the new school year prepared and confident. Every backpack filled, every notebook donated, and every encouraging conversation sent a clear message to these students: You matter. We believe in you. Your future is worth investing in. Starting a new school year should be filled with excitement—not the worry of whether you have the supplies you need. Because our community stepped forward, 40 students can walk into their classrooms with confidence, ready to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams. This event was never just about backpacks and school supplies. It was about creating hope, building confidence, and reminding our youth that they have an entire community standing beside them. Together, we are laying the foundation for brighter futures—one student, one family, and one act of kindness at a time. To every donor, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who made this event possible, thank you. Your generosity created opportunities, inspired confidence, and made a lasting impact that extends far beyond the first day of school. At Rising Together, we believe lasting change happens when communities rise together. Bridging the Gap - Feeding the homeless

Bridging the Gap – Community Impact Recap On June 27, 2026, Rising Together and Ethereal Ministries partnered to host our Bridging the Gap outreach event, serving members of our homeless community with compassion, dignity, and hope. Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we were able to serve 60 individuals experiencing homelessness. Each guest received: A hot, freshly prepared meal Drinks and dessert A care bag containing 3 lunches, 3 breakfasts, and 3 snacks A hygiene care package filled with essential personal care items This event was about more than providing meals—it was about reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors and partners whose support made this outreach possible: Walmart AB America's Best The Way Center Grace On the Streets Together, we are building stronger communities by meeting immediate needs while sharing hope, kindness, and compassion—one person at a time. New Year — New Goals Workshop

A room full of fresh starts Thirty-four adults walked into our community room on a Saturday morning and walked out with a written one-year plan for their family's stability. We covered three frameworks: The Three-Bucket Goal method (now / next / next year) Mapping money milestones to family milestones Accountability circles — the small group of people who will text you in March when life gets in the way Six months later We checked back in with attendees in July. 23 of 34 were still actively tracking the goals they wrote that morning. Eleven had hit their first major milestone. I came in wanting to try. I left knowing exactly what to do next. — Workshop attendee, age 38

Thanksgiving Family Feast

What this day looked like By the time we cleaned up at 8 PM, more than 150 families had sat down together for a hot meal in our community space — turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, and three kinds of pie made by volunteer grandmothers. Long banquet tables filled with families sharing a Thanksgiving meal Many came alone and left with new friends. A handful came not knowing where their next meal would be — and left with takeaway containers heavy enough to carry them through the weekend. By the numbers 150+ families served 42 volunteers across two shifts 18 dishes brought from home by neighbors 0 people turned away Thank you To the church across the street that loaned us their tables. To the family that dropped off three turkeys at 6 AM. To the kids who ran around with crayons making placemats. To the woman who quietly washed dishes for three hours and slipped out before we could thank her — we saw you. This is what Thanksgiving is supposed to feel like. — First-time guest
